Georgia Apple Festival  Held in Ellijay Georgia, this Georgia Apple Festival celebrates the north Georgia apple harvest with crafts, food, music, dance, art, demonstrations and of course, anything relating to the honored apple.  The Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay is a vey popular event. Held 2 consecutive weekends. October 9-12 and 16-18

Amicalola Deer Park is a great place to have fun, to take a hike and to enjoy viewing the beautiful deer.  When you visit Amicalola Deer Park, you are helping to create a place of sanctuary and help because all donations are used to rehabilitate injured, neglected and abused aniimals.  Located on Highway 52 on your way to Amicalola Falls, Dahlonega Square and Burts Pumpkin Farm. A fine art festival held every spring in Dahlonega. The Mountain Flower Art Festival Includes plant sale, wildflower walk, gardening demos, handcrafted art, ranging from watercolors, painters, potters, silversmiths, photographers to weavers. In addition  performing artists play during the festival on the square.

APPALACHIAN SAMPLER FESTIVALS held (rain or shine) in Ellijay, Georgia on the third weekend monthly April  - September.

Apple Pickin' Jubilee




The Bear on the Square Festival Dahlonega - features Blue Grass, old time music, old time events like pig hollering, and crafts on the square in Dahlonega
Celebrates and preserves  the traditions of bluegrass and old-time mountain music, crafts, and folkways, is held every third weekend in April on and around Dahlonega's  Historic Town Square.

Blairsville Scottish Festival features clan gatherings, Scottish Vendors, pipe and drum bands, parade of Tartans, Border Collie demonstrations, children's games and activities, Scottish dancing and  Music, Scottish village exhibit, Scottish fiddle and harp workshops, genealogy tent, music and entertainment.

The Prater’s Mill Country Fair features North Georgia mountains music, good Southern cooking, living history exhibits including Civil War reenactments and the  crafts and original art of local artisans and mountain music. Craft demonstrations include blacksmithing, spinning, quilting, rug hooking, woodcarving and hand tufting, a cottage industry that evolved into the tufted carpet industry centered in Dalton, Ga.
