Riseland Llama Farm offers farm tours on an appointment basis. Their goal is to introduce llamas to you and educate the public about llamas. Groups of 1 to 60 are welcome. Each tour is customized to your group's personal needs and desires. Come on by, relax and get to know a llama not to mention they will provide all the free llamas kisses you desire.

Your actual tour at Cagle's Dairy (about 1-1/2 hours) will be divided into several stages, beginning with a hay ride and herding demonstration by Ben Cagle's award-winning Border Collies. You will see baby calves being bottle fed, and get an up close view of milking a real cow. Then you will tour the dairy processing facility. Children will learn how milk gets from the cow to the grocery store! Tour includes a free 1/2 pint of plain or chocolate milk. Tour times and dates vary so be sure to check and make reservations.

The Black Forest Bear Park is a educational family exhibit located in the North Georgia Mountains in Helen The Black Forest Bear Park hosts a bear exhibit, snake exhibit and the largest gift shop in Helen. Visitors may buy food trays that consist of sliced apples, lettuce and bread to feed their bears.
Kangaroo Conservation Center in Dawsonville is the largest kangaroo farm outside of Australia. The Kangaroo Farm is a definite must-see if you can't get to Australia. Guided tours include riding on the Kangaranger truck and the wild Australia show. Call for reservations and details.

A safari-like adventure can be experienced at the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve in Dahlonega viewing lions, tigers, bears, leopards and chimpanzees. The Chestatee Wildlife Preserve in Dahlonega contains more than 450 animals native to the Americas, Africa, Australia and Asia. The wildlife preserve is a nonprofit organization and relies on donation and admission fees to fund its nonprofit operations.
Burt's Pumpkin Farm in Dawsonville has an impressive display of pumpkins every fall. Hay rides begin in September. Open September 1-November 15. Burt's Pumpkin Farm is located near the entrance to Amicalola Falls State Park.
The Shields-Ethridge Farm in Jefferson, Gerogia is an outdoor historical museum.
The Farm is open to the public (by appointment) and has tours that highlight the Farm's historic buildings, including a cotton gin, blacksmith shop, fully-stocked commissary, wheat house, grist mill, and restored schoolhouse. All of these historic, agricultural buildings lie in their original location in 150 acres of historical farmland originally established in 1800.
